This book of photos was inspired by an early frost that hit Colorado in the fall of 2009. As photographers, the onset of a frost settling on trees still filled with color was an incredible opportunity for us to capture some amazing photographs. In each and every direction we turned there was an amazing photo opportunity. Despite the bitter cold, the beauty of the scenes surrounding us, captivated us. Our only concern was could the camera capture what our eyes were really seeing. To our surprise, the results were better than expected. Together we hand-selected what we felt were the best photos and included them in this book.

We hope you enjoy these photos as much as we enjoyed capturing them for you!

All of the photos in this book were taken on October 11, 2009 in Palmer Lake, Colorado.

The book is available through LuLu.com

This is our 3rd book, but this one is a large format 11x13, hard cover, Coffee Table type book with 40 full color pages taken from our series ROCKY MOUNTAIN Cold Capture. This collection of photos was captured in the Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park areas of Colorado on March 12, 2010 by the 2020 Visual Studios, L.L.C. Visual Arts team. It was a relatively warm and beautiful winter day, full of sunshine and blue skies! However, on the way up into the mountains, the team found themselves in deep snow and heavily-shaded areas that were a bit cold at times. The team initially set out to try and capture some shots of waterfalls mixed with flowing water and ice, only to find out that the waterfalls were still mostly frozen and snow covered. So they switched gears and took advantage of the beautiful mountain scenery, the ice, and the incredibly awesome Elk they found along the way.

We hope you thoroughly enjoy this book! We fully enjoyed creating it for you! Thank you very much for taking the time to look through and enjoy our work.

Regards,

The Team at 2020 Visual Studios, L.L.C.
